Wheel Alignment

It goes without saying but it is important to keep your wheels pointing in the same direction. A wheel alignment is required :-

  • If your car is ‘fighting you’ through the steering.
  • If you have travelled 10,000 miles inthe last 6 months
  • If the car is pulling to the left or right
  • If your suspension was recently re-fitted
  • If you’ve recently had new tyres fittted.
  • If your car is ‘fighting you’ through the steering.
  • Your vehicle has hit anything on the road – like a kerb or pothole.

Wheels that are misaligned can lead to the following problems:

  •  Tyre life is drastically shortened
  • Handling is all over the place.
  • It is actually more tiring to drive.

Have a wheel alignment carried out every six months or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first by a proffessional. We have specialised equipment to fix this problem and get your car back on the straight and narrow.

Wheel Balancing

Wheels that are unbalanced can prove to be an unstable and unsafe ride. Chucks has the machines and the know-how to fix this for you. It involve placing your wheel and tyre on our balancing machine to ensure that the wheel spins correctly .

If your car starts shakes at certain speeds, the chances are you need your wheels balanced. All our new and used tyre fitting to your vehicle, are balanced. even if its only a puncture repair, the materials used in the process may put the wheel out of balance.
